To learn about Clef and our new partnership, please read this article!

To get started, go to getclef.com and click on Download the App, and follow the prompts to download the app for your phone. Open the app and create an account using the same email address that you use in your WordPress profile.

The first step is to get the plugin on your WordPress.

Once the plugin is installed we move onto the next step, which is the settings area for Clef. Now you would want to click the area seen in this photo that says,

API Settings

to manage the Clef application that syncs with your plugin, please visit the Clef developer site.

The next step is to get Clef downloaded on your phone (only smart phones are supported). You will click right under Completely free login with your phone. This step is now completed.

So now you may have not got the app downloaded at the start like I mentioned you to do at the top of this article, so I will run this through as well. In the image below you will see that you need to click where I have circled, you should see the information below.

Clef is the easiest, most secure, way to log in.
Sync to sign in or learn more.

Click learn more and follow the steps.

Now you should have the app on your smart phone if you followed the steps to get the download link and logged in following the steps as seen below.

The next step is to create your App ID and App Secret. Just follow these instructions.

After you completed the steps you should now see your App ID and App Secret. Go back to your WordPress admin panel as seen in step 2 and enter your App ID And App Secret where it says to input them (as seen below).

That’s it! You can now login with Clef anytime you go to the login portion of your WordPress.
