[WHMCS] Whitelisting IP Addresses

It is a good idea to whitelist your home or office IP address from being banned for failed login attempts. This prevents yourself from being locked out in the admin area should you fail to login

  1. Login your admin control panel
  2. Navigate to: Setup -> General Settings -> Security tab
  3. Scroll down to the “Whitelisted IPs” and click “Add IP”
IP Address: This is the IP address you want to whitelist and prevent from being banned
Reason: This is the reason you want this IP to be whitelisted, you could set this to anything such as “Home Connection” etc… just so you can easily reference to it
  4. Scroll down and click “Save Changes”

To remove a whitelisted IP address:

  1. Navigate to: Setup -> General Settings -> Security tab
  2. Scroll down to the “Whitelisted IPs” section
  3. Select the IP address you would like to be removed from the whitelist
  4. Click “Removed Selected”
  5. Scroll down and click “Save Changes”

I cannot see “Whitelisted IPs” section in my Cpanel.
I’m having a issue because a .NET App is unable to connect to host for a MySql database.
I already set MySql Remote Connections list with “%” and made a test with a PHP Script which works fine (using the host name).
    Any help?

The whitelisted IPs would appear in your WHMCS admin area, not cPanel.
