Facebook has recently made some changes to their integration API which is causing the integration script with Social Engine to break. In this article I will show you how you can fix these issues. To summarize, the fix will involve a simple modification to the authcontroller file.
Please open the following File:
"/application/modules/User/controllers/AuthController.php"
and search for the below code around line no. 753:
<span class="pl-s1"><span class="pl-s"><span class="pl-pds">'</span>offline_access<span class="pl-pds">'</span></span>,</span>
Then replace the above code with the below code or comment it:
<span class="pl-s1"><span class="pl-c">//'offline_access',</span></span>
Once you have made the change to the above file, re-upload the file to your site and should now allow Facebook to work with your site.
