Have you recently upgraded your version of Social Engine to 4.8.7 and now receiving the following error:

Notice: Use of undefined constant E_DEPRECATED – assumed ‘E_DEPRECATED’ in /var/www/web57/html/Haustiercom/application/modules/Core/Bootstrap.php on line 40

Error code: 20858a

This issues is caused by your server / hosting account as it is set to use a PHP version less than 5.3

There are 2 fixes to this, please see below:

Please download the files attached “Bootstrap” and “Scaffold” unzip the following files and replace with the existing files on your server at the below paths with these new files:

“/application/modules/Core/Bootstrap.php”
“application/libraries/Scaffold/libraries/Scaffold/Scaffold.php”

This should now fix the issues you are facing with E_DEPRECATED
