Outlook,550 Access denied – Invalid HELO name

Are you getting the following error while mailing from OUTLOOK 2007

Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties.
The server responded: 550 Access denied – Invalid HELO name

Enabling “My outgoing server requires Authentication”  option will fix the issue

Following are the steps in enabling that

Step 1 : Open your Outlook

Step 2 :  Tools  –>  Account setting


Step 3  :   Move to Email tab —> select the relevant Email account then click change


Step 4 : Click at more setting 


Step 5 : Choose Outgoing server tab — >Check My outgoing Server(SMTP) requires Authentication option


Step 6 : Also select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”

Step 7 :Complete the procedure by clicking Ok–> Next–>Finish
