Make your WordPress Site Mobile Friendly with WPtouch Plugin

It is also possible to enable/disable display of post date, author and comment bubbles. The plugin also includes a slider which displays your posts in animated style and also provides an ability to display content from a specific category.


On the other hand, the branding tab enable you to modify theme colors, upload logo, add custom theme footer message, set fonts and enable/disable sharing. You can also display your social media profile links on the footer of the mobile theme, provided you have given the relevant URLs inside the options page.


With the help of WPtouch plugin, you can also provide a relevant title and add icons which will be displayed when the visitors bookmarks your site.

The plugin also includes three extensions which are only available in Pro version. The Theme Settings navigation option directly takes you to the same configuration page as discussed above.

WPtouch is an excellent plugin to port your WordPress site to mobile devices without spending any money. However, this plugin is not an alternative to Apps.
