Hello,
Nowadays it is essential for a website to be mobile compatible, as more and more users are stopping to use computer but their mobiles. With this tutorial you will use a video player capable of streaming videos in mobile devices. Tested in v2.6.
**Remember to back up your files, in case you later want to revert changes**
1. Download http://arvixeclipbucket[dot]com/Arvixe/~KEEP/HTML5-Player.zip
2. Upload all the files to the players directory of your Clip-Bucket installation – ./player/* – (overwriting when prompted)
3. Log into your admin_area (http://yoursite.tld/admin_area)
4. In the left column, click on Players Manager, under the Templates and Players tab
5. Activate “JWPLAYER 5.9 HTML5 —”
There you go! You’re website will now use the HTML5 version of JW Player 5.9. You can add skins in ./players/html5player/skins/* to give it a different look. Should you have any questions, please let me know. Article suggestions are welcome too!
Best Regards,
Richi
Hi, Richi
I upload the player folder and i can choose the new player at the admin area, but when i go to the homepage, the player shows this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_normal_vid() in /home/artf5/public_html/player/CB_html5_player/html5_player.php on line 35
Thanks!
Hello,
It appears to be that you are using a different player than the one I mention on the article. Please make sure you are using the correct player.

Email me at: erikmartin95@gmail.com
Hello,
You can set the video width and height at the admin_area to make it fit. Moreover, there are video players that can adapt the video to the size of the player.

We have cb 2.6 installed along with this html5 player which works great on ipads and iphones for most videos but we have noticed alot of videos which was already on the system that play as .flv do not play.
How do we fix this issue?

Please e-mail support@arvixe.com in regards to your issue and include your Arvixe account name. They will need to review your account. If you are not with Arvixe you will need to contact your hosting provider as they will be able to give you more details on the issue.
