This article will focus on how to send an email to inactive members of your phpFox website.
Every once in a while you may want to contact members that have not visited your site for a while, so that they will come back and login to your site. You can do this by sending emails to inactive members via the admincp.
In the admincp, select Users > Inactive Members.
On the next page, enter how far back you want to check for inactive members. By default it is set for 1 day, however I suggest not entering anything less than 30 days, so that you do not upset your members by sending them too many emails on a regular basis. Once you select a number of days, select Get Members Count to see the number of inactive members in that time period. The number of inactive members will be visible on the left side of your screen.
In order to send emails to the inactive members, you would select Process Mailing Job. If there is a large number of inactive members, you may want to consider sending emails in batches of 50 or less.
You will now be able to email your inactive members to remind them to log back into your website.
