This article will give you a step by step guide on how to download and install PHPMotion manually using cPanel. PHPMotion is a free video sharing software that also has support for other types of media such as audio/mp3 sharing. Go to the PHPMotion download page by clicking HERE and follow these steps:
1) Enter your email address
2) Click Download Now
3) Click Download PHPmotion (for servers running PHP5.0.x – PHP5.2.x)
4) Save the file to a easy to access location (such as your Desktop)
5) Sign in to your cPanel account
6) Click File Manager under Files
7) Click on Public
8 ) Click New Folder
9) Name the folder “phpmotion”
10) Click Create New Folder
11) Open your new phpmotion folder

14) Find and open the zipped file that you saved in step 4
15) Return to your file manager
16) Select the phpmotion.zip file

34) Click MySQL Databases under Databases
35) Enter “phpmotion” in the New Database box
36) Click Create Database
37) Click Go Back
38 ) Go to the Add New User section and enter a username into the Username box
39) Enter a password into the Password box
40) Click Create User
41) Click Go Back
42) Go to the Add User to Database section and select the new user you just created
43) Select the new database you just created
44) Click Add
45) Click All Privileges
46) Click Make Changes
47) Click Go Back
48 ) Go to the website that you have installed PHPMotion to
49) Click Continue
50) Click Continue
51) Click Continue again
52) Enter ‘localhost’ into the MySQL Host box
53) Enter the username that you use to sign into your cpanel followed by ‘_phpmotion’ into the Database Name box

56) Click Continue
57) Enter the username you want for the administrator of your website into the Username box
58 ) Enter a password for the administrator of your website into the Password box
59) Enter the email address of the administrator of your website into the Email Address box
60) Enter the name of your website into the Site Name box
61) Enter the full website URL of your website into the Website Url box
It will look like this: http://phpmotion.yourdomain.com/
62) Enter an email address which you would like to be used to send out notification into the System Email Address box
63) Enter the name of the sender of the System emails into the System Email box
64) Click Continue
65) You will now get a confirmation that your setup was completed successfully
66) Return to your cPanel and open your File Manager
67) Open your phpmotion folder
68 ) Find and select the setup folder
69) Click Delete
70) Click Delete File(s)
