Hello everyone,
Today we are going to discuss how to change the logo on your Chevereto installation. Now this isn’t like you normally would upload and go from there. In this case you have to save your images as a .png file. After you do this you will then have to convert it into a .svd file. Now what is a .svd file you ask? Well .svd is what is called a Scalable Vector Graphic. This means that it isn’t actually an image file per say but more of a Vector graphic file. It’s a XML based file extension that can support from animation to raster graphics. The awesome part of this is that it can be edited in drawing software as well as text editors. You can however just use a .png image as well.
So now I’m sure you’re thinking “Wow, how can I do this?” Well it’s quite simple and I will be here to walk you through it!
First step pick your logo and make sure it’s saved as a .png file.
Go to your dashboard in your admin panel and click settings and under the drop down next to the word Settings and select theme and you will see the following screen:
So go ahead and scroll down until you see Vector logo image and Rastor logo image like so:
So under Rastor Image you will select the image you wish to upload. Now you can either convert a .png to a .svd and use the Vector image for a more high quality feel or you can use your basic .png image. For this tutorial we are going to use a basic .png image for it.
So upload the .png file you wish to use under the Rastor logo upload like so:
After you do that above vector image upload you will see Enable Vector Image. In order for this to work you need to disable Vector Image. So in the drop down menu click Disable like so:
After you select disable scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes. After you do this you will see the top middle image that used to be Chevereto change. Like so:
There you have it! Your logo is now changed! If you have any questions feel free to ask via support ticket or on here!
