How to add a next video link in Clip-Bucket v2.6

As time passes by, users have become more demanding in terms of UX (User 1Experience). To satisfy the audience, website owners should make small adjustments that make the overall experience better.

In this article, I will show you how to implement a small modification to your watch video page so that you add a next video link – I can assure you this will make users stay more time on your website (Tested for version 2.6).

1. Open ./watch_video.php

2. Before

//Return category id without '#'

paste the following code

//Start NEXT VIDEO Modification by Richi González
$first = $cbvid->get_videos(array('limit'=>1,'order'=>"videoid ASC");
$first = $first['videoid'];
$last = $cbvid->get_videos(array('limit'=>1,'order'=>"videoid DESC");
$last = $last['videoid'];

$current = $vdo['videoid'];
$next = $current++;

while(!$cbvid->video_exists($next)) {
    if($next != $last) {
        } else {
            $next = $first;

$nextlink = $cbvid->videoLink($cbvid->get_video($next));
//End NEXT VIDEO Modification by Richi González

3. Save & Upload

4. Open ./styles/{YOURTEMPLATE}/layout/watch_video.html

5. At the top of the file, add the following code

<div style="position: fixed; width: 50px; right: 0px; z-index:99; border-color: white; border-style: solid; border-top: 2px solid white; border-left: 2px solid white; border-right-width: 0px ! important; background: none repeat scroll 0px 0px rgb(0, 102, 204); height: 60px; top: 38%; border-bottom: 2px solid white;">
