Fixing the ‘Normal Preset Not Found’ When Converting in Clip-Bucket

Lately, with the new Clip-Bucket v2.5, I have had the ‘normal preset not found’ in a couple of sites already; therefore, I have decided to write an article for you to fix it on your own. It is really simple. Written for v2.5.x. You will need SSH root access.
Difficulty level: Medium (Easy if you have basic Linux terminal command knowledge)

Steps to find out if you have this problem:

1. Upload a video.

2. Go to your admin_area.

3. On the left column, under ‘Videos’, click on ‘Videos Manager’.

4. Look for your uploaded video, and click on ‘File conversion details’.

5. Do a search (Ctrl+F or CMD+F) of: File for preset ‘normal’ not found. If it finds it, then here is the fix.

Steps to fix the error:

Now that you know you have this error, do the following to fix it. Remember, you need root SSH access. In this example, I am using my Ubuntu terminal to connect via SSH; if you are on windows, you can use PuTTY.

1. Establish a SSH connection and login as root.

2. Execute the next commands, one by one:

cd /usr/share/ffmpeg

If /usr/share/ffmpeg does not exist, try /usr/local/share/ffmpeg

That is it! Upload a video and see your fixed website!

If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. There may be people that will keep having the same error, if that is your case, let me know as it will need a specific fix; and I will be more than glad to assist you.
