Hello Everyone!
Today we are going to discuss how to change the max file size upload in Chevereto. As a default it is set to 2 MB for an Image. On Arvixe Servers the max you can have is 512MB.
So let’s get started. First you are going to log into your account and navigate yourself to the Settings page. After you have done this you will see the following:
In the drop down menu next to the words Settings you will select Image Upload and will be taken to a page that looks like this:
Without having to scroll you can see just about four down there is a setting titled Max. File Size (MB) On Arvixe Servers you can set a max upload size of 512MB so that is what we are going to do like so:
After you do that just scroll to the bottom and select Save Changes and you will get a message confirming your changes.
That’s all you have now changed your Max File upload size!
As always if you have issues please feel free to post a comment below or contact Support for assistance!

Keith,
In your last screenshot, it’s quite clear that the upload_max_filesize is indeed 2MB, not 512MB as you state. You do indeed allow customers to enable a php.ini via cPanel, which allows 512MB max file size. However with Chevereto the php.ini causes an issue with the script. By default, your servers seem to be standard at 2MB (server default php.ini) customers custom php.ini allows 512MB, but again, disabled the script then.
This article is quite misleading. You can’t save 512MB when it shows the server’s max file size is only 2MB, as soon as you hit save you would have gotten an error in return. Why didn’t you post that screenshot?
Hi Chris, thank you for the comment. Keith was just showing an example of what can be done.
