Joomla 3.0 is the biggest revision of Joomla ever. This new release will bring new features that aim to improve the look and feel of your Joomla site. In this article I will cover everything you need to know about Joomla 3.0

Responsive Layout

Joomla will introduce in this new release the Twitter Bootstrap, which will practically make your Joomla Mobile friendly, without any extra module. This feature will be built-in the framework.

Enhanced User Interface

The entire Joomla Administration interface will have a better look as well as a better menu layout, so that you can find anything you want without any efforts. This is actually the best improvement in Joomla, since the old interface felt old and it was confusing for new users.

Drag and Drop Arrangement for sorting Elements

Previous versions of Joomla required you to refresh the entire page when you wanted to rearrange elements within your Joomla site. Now, Joomla 3.0 lets you drag and drop elements without needing to refresh the page. This neat feature actually reduces server load.

PHP Requirements
