Use Purge Expired Cache in Joomla 3 for Site Maintenance

In this article, I will explain to you how to use Purge Expired Cache in Joomla 3 for site maintenance. Component packaged with Joomla 3 Core for deleting the expired cache files if caching is enabled. I had previously written how to use this for Joomla 2.5.

  1. Login as administrator: 1
  2. In the top menu, click System -> Purge Expired Cache: 2
  3. Click Purge expired button to execute the process: 3
