How to Block IE from your SE Site
As most of you are aware SE can be very picky about what browsers are compatible with its Script IE is one that is not always compatible with each version that is released.
Now I’m going to show you how to make you site disabled for IE. In that tutorial I will teach you how to detect internet explorer browser display a message to user that’s trying to open your site with IE and redirect it to download other browser using javascript.
I’m making this tutorial because most of SE4 templates does not support IE browser.

Have you been using a Trial Version of SE 4 and have the license expire, once purchased the core, plus blogs, forums, and photo albums modules. You need to started with the upgrade instructions, by copying files over into the existing directory structure, but you may not proceed, as any time you hit the site, You may have received the “License expired” warning. I assume this is because you have some modules enabled that you hadn’t purchased. If you try deleting the license.txt file, clearing the cache (see below), and a few other things, but got nowhere.
You need to copy the new core to a different directory, copy over from the OLD directory structure, in application/settings the following files: database.php, general.php, mail.php.

Flushing Cache in SE4 is not a difficult task
Usually it is required after language change, moving site to another host or to check updated result of template
You can normally flush the catch via the admin panel but this does not always get rid of all the temporary files used.
