How to Allow Members to Add Custom RSS Feeds in Dolphin 7

In today’s article, I will show you how to use the “Custom RSS” module with your Dolphin 7 based site. Before we begin we need to install the module. A step by step guide on installing the Dolphin 7 base modules can be found here.
Once we have the module installed any member can add or delete an RSS feed to their profile by clicking “Edit” under the “Custom RSS” block on their profile page. To add a custom feed you simply add the feed URL, the number of items to display and the title of the feed.

This how-to will show you how to limit the box located in the right column of the homepage to any number of members, rather than the default 10. This how-to is written for v2.0.91, it might or it might not work in other versions, but it can you an idea; if you need a tutorial for an specific version, let me know and I’ll be more than happy to assist you. I always recommend backing up the files we are going to edit, in case you want to revert changes in the future.
