How to Add a “Shout Box” to Your Dolphin 7 Website

In today’s article, I will show you how to use the “Shoutbox” module with your Dolphin 7 based site. Before we begin we need to install the module. A step by step guide on installing the Dolphin 7 base modules can be found here.

Once we have the module installed we can access the admin options by clicking “Shoutbox” under the “Modules” menu on the left side of the screen.

This how-to will show you how to limit the box located in the right column of the homepage to any number of members, rather than the default 10. This how-to is written for v2.0.91, it might or it might not work in other versions, but it can you an idea; if you need a tutorial for an specific version, let me know and I’ll be more than happy to assist you. I always recommend backing up the files we are going to edit, in case you want to revert changes in the future.
