Hello and welcome! In today’s blog I will show you how to allow your users to upload files to your Dolphin 7.1 website. Before we begin, we need to install the files module. A step by step guide on installing the Dolphin 7.1 base modules can be found here.

Once we have the module installed, users can access it by clicking “Files” on the main menu bar of the site. It is configured from the admin menu by clicking “Modules” and then “Files” in the administration section of your website.

Hello and welcome! In today’s article, we’ll discuss how to disable the built in security (phpids) that comes with Dolphin 7. It has been known to generate multiple false positives and block users trying to perform legitimate site functions.

We’ll start by logging into the admin section of our website. Now click “Settings” on the left side menu. Then click “Advanced Settings” and “Security”. Under this tab you will see two options that need to be set to “-1”. The options are “total security impact threshold to send report” and “total security impact threshold to send report and block aggressor”.

Hello and welcome! In today’s article, we’re going to talk about how to change the template on your Dolphin 7 website.

Let’s start by logging into our favorite FTP program and uploading our new template to the /templates directory. For today’s example, I’ll use the “Dark” template. When we’re done it should look like this:
