SocialEngine 4: How to Flush Cache Properly

Flushing Cache in SE4 is not a difficult task

Usually it is required after language change, moving site to another host or to check updated result of template

You can normally flush the catch via the admin panel but this does not always get rid of all the temporary files used.
Here are step:

1. login to ftp root of your se4 site
2. rename current temporary folder to temporary1
3. Extract some clean install package on your pc and upload its TEMPORARY folder again to your SE4 root
4. chmod 777 recursive to this newly uploaded temporary folder

And you are done!

Thank You

    Hi,
Looking for support for many days oI came accross your Website and from what I red in your blog I thinks that you have a very experience with SE. This is the first time that I am using this plateform and I am really frustrated with the process of moving a working website to a new server.
Apparently the new installation is correct and the database connection is ok but the problem is the content of the website is not correctly displayed as in the original website. The original website is in this url: http://dehilos.com and the website copy I am trying to install in a different server is here: http://159.253.144.75/~dehilos/
As you can see nearly all the content is no visible in the website I am moving now.
I would be so grateful if you could help me to solve this issue.

    Mustapha
