SocialEngine 4: Removing Banned Phases

Andrew - SocialEngineWithin SocialEngine you have the ability to Ban Words, Usernames, Phases within the system sometimes there can be sections of the site that become corrupt or does not communicant the changes made to the system.

If you enter your admin panel, go to Spam & Banning Tools ‘/admin/core/settings/spam’  Remove all banned words and save.

This should now clear any banned names phases etc… which are within that section of the site.

On the odd occasion, the save has not been processing by the system correctly, and banned words remain being banned.

You can go to your database to confirm the changes have gone through via checking the database table ‘engine4_core_bannedwords’ and verify they are gone.

If not, delete everything ‘inside’ this table this will remove the phases for you.
