SocialEngine 4: Remove Hi “Username”

When you start to give your Social Network a more custom look, its can be nice to remove the username from the members home page “Hi Username”

To do this simple modifications just follow the simple instructions below.


1- Go to your SE admin then Language manager / edit phrases (in English)

2- Search for this: Hi %1$s!

3- Remove the whole phrase and leave the translation bar for Hi %1$s! blank.

4- Save changes.

Note: If you wish to only see user name then simply remove the Hi and the exclamation mark ( ! ) from %1$s! and save changes
