SocialEngine 4: Copy and Paste Issue with TinyMCE

This article explains how to apply a patch for some installations that have copy and paste issues in Chrome and Internet Explorer when using the TinyMCE input field in blogs and forums.

Extract the patch:

To correct this problem, download the engine4_r9175.zip attached to this article and extract its contents.

Next, using an FTP client, upload the externals folder into your SocialEngine root directory, so that the externals/tinymce/plugins/paste/editor_plugin.js and externals/tinymce/plugins/paste/editor_plugin_src.js files are overwritten. When uploading make sure the externals folder is merged and not replaced.
