SocialEngine 4: Change Password Length

Have you ever wanted to change the minimum number of character you need in your password instead of the default 6 maybe you what the minimum as a 10 or even higher/lower.

Well here is a small mod you can do to allow this to happen.

CAUTION: always back up your site first before editing files

1. Open ../application/modules/User/Form/Signup/Account.php
2. Find code (around line 87):
array(‘StringLength’, false, array(632)),
3. Replace number 6 with desired No. – In this case that will be 10

That’s it :) nice and simple enjoy :)
