Here are the steps to return your cPanel to its default settings and get that pop-up back.  (This pop-up allows you to see hidden files and to select which directory to log into.)

1.Log in to your cpanel.

2.Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

3.Click reset all interface settings

Restart cPanel settings

Restart cPanel settings

4. You are done

This restores the option to: Image manager, File manager, Leech protect and many more.

    Hi,

This is just to restore the user interface settings to default. This doesn’t involve the actual backup of files.
