When clicking on icons in your cpanel have you accidentally selected “Skip this question, and always open this directory in the future when opening File Manager.”? Here are the steps to return your cPanel to its default settings and get that pop-up back. (This pop-up allows you to see hidden files and to select which directory to log into.)
1.Log in to your cpanel.
2.Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
3.Click reset all interface settings
4. You are done
This restores the option to: Image manager, File manager, Leech protect and many more.

How can we reset the file manager in cpanel of the website?
Can’t the cPanel back up all files by itself?
