I’ll admit it; I’m one of those people. I love to window-shop, and price-comparison, and bargain-hunt. I’ve made it a rule that if I want to buy something, even if I add it to the shopping cart, I have to give it a certain amount of time before I click that “buy” button. Nop Templates is one of the best third-party vendors for nopCommerce; their collection of plugins elevate an already terrific open-source product to an excellent commercial-quality e-commerce solution. The Customer Reminder plugin comes with three basic reminder classes: abandoned carts, inactive users, and unpaid orders. The plugin is extensible to allow additional reminder classes to be added.
As usual, the plugin installation is seamless, and easy to follow. The plugin configuration screen allows the administrator to determine how many reminder e-mails should be sent out, and how soon after the initial parameter state has been completed. You can even customize your reminder messages with nopCommerce-specific tokens to include store information and other relevant information.
