Quite often, it’s necessary to message your customers directly, to confirm an order, or inform them of a stocking issue. Rather than have to look their e-mails up, and e-mail them in a third-party application, nopCommerce provides the means to contact them directly.
In order to contact your customer, you’ll need to be logged into nopCommerce as an administrator. In Administration, click on “Sales”>”Orders”; use the search function to locate your customer. Next to their order, click “View”; on the “Info” tab, click “View” again.
Here, you’ll see two options: “Send E-Mail”, which will send an e-mail out to them directly, or “Send Message”. If you use the “Send Message” option, they won’t see your communication until the next time they log into their account on your nopCommerce site. If it’s time-critical in any way, it’s best to use the “Send E-Mail” option, as nopCommerce will not notify them that they have a message on the site.
