mojoPortal News Roundup

There have been a lot of great new things for mojoPortal in the past month or so; this CMS just keeps getting better and better, due to the efforts of the mojoPortal development team and the great community that provides support for it.
One of the greatest new features to roll out has been the Audio and Video features now supported in mojoPortal. In a later article, I’ll cover tools available to help you optimize your use of these great new features. Also incorporated in that release was support for the brand-new Artisteer 3.1 - if you’re after creating your own look and feel for mojoPortal, this is one of the best tools available.
In addition, at the end of January the mojoPortal headquarters rolled out version 220.127.116.11, which includes some significant beefing up of the mojoPortal security protocols, including a stronger hash algorithm, to provide more robust protection of your stored information. Another nifty little feature; if your users are accustomed to using the WordPress external app Blogsy for iPad to update their blog entries, they’ll be able to use it with the mojoPortal blog feature as well!
Some great articles by members of the community for this month:
i7 Media has updated their Form Wizard Pro add-ons to include a template for all 50 states and D.C.; in addition, they’ve written a very helpful article on how to Optimize Your mojoPortal Skin Scripts. To understand what makes that such an important factor: “This process will result in fewer files being delivered to the browser, thus improving performance”.
From those clever fellows at Colorado State University:
Know When Your Site Goes Down Before Your Clients Do - not such a big thing for people hosting with Arvixe, but still a good idea
Send Snazzy Email Confirmations using Form Wizard Pro - very nice explanation of how to extend the usability of Form Wizard Pro.
