How to Use File Manager in Your cPanel – Download Files Locally

This article will give you a step by step guide on how to quickly manager all of your files with the new file manager in your cPanel. This article will show you how to download files to your computer. Sign into your cPanel. Then go to Files and click File Manager.

1) Select the file you want to download by clicking it

2) Click Download

3) Depending on the browser you are using, your file will be downloaded to your computer differently

(the example shows Google Chrome)

4) Your file will now be saved onto your computer

    after this is done, could you explain how to upload the files to a new webhost cpanel?

    i currently have a folder of files(from building a website with html & css) and need to transfer the entire folder of files to a new platform because the current platform is provided by a school professor and will be deleted soon.
