The Application pool enables the isolation of your web application for better security, reliability, and availability. In this article I will give a step by step guide on How to restart Application Pool in WebsitePanel

1. Sign into your WebsitePanel

2. Click on Websites:

3. Click on your domain to go to the Website properties page:

4. First we need to stop the application pool. Click on the Stop button located at the right side of the page:

5. After stopping it, the button will be different. Click on it to start the Application Pool again:

6. And that’s it, the Application Pool has been restarted

   This method does nothing.
   Cannot understand why i the app pool crashes it does not auto restart; i have never seen this before, with any other host.

   It does restart automatically, however if you ever need to do it for any reason, you can do it by following this tutorial. Not every asp.net application is the same and some people actually need to reset it manually.
