Reindex Videos in Clip-Bucket v2

Hello,

To keep your Clip-Bucket copy running at its best when you have constant traffic and video uploads, it is recommended to periodically Reindex videos (photos, groups, collections too). This article applies for v2. Previous versions don’t have this feature.

1. Go to your site’s admin_area (http://yoursite.tld/admin_area)

2. On the left column, under the Tool Box tab, click on ReIndexer.

n13. There, you can change the Loop Size, which is the number of videos to reindex each cycle. Setting this number too high will increase the CPU load. Make sure you don’t set it too high, especially if you have hundreds of videos as it will keep the CPU working for several minutes.

4. Click Reindex Videos. The page will be refreshing until it finishes with all your videos. This process may take several minutes depending on the amount of videos you have. To know when it’s ready, at the bottom it will tell you: “Indexing has been completed.”

Moreover, you can reindex Groups, Collections, Groups & Photos as well. Same process. Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to comment don’t below.
