[HOW-TO] Limit ‘Top 10 Members’ to other number in Clip-Bucket

Hello,

This how-to will show you how to limit the box located in the right column of the homepage to any number of members, rather than the default 10. This how-to is written for v2.0.91, it might or it might not work in other versions, but it can you an idea; if you need a tutorial for an specific version, let me know and I’ll be more than happy to assist you. I always recommend backing up the files we are going to edit, in case you want to revert changes in the future.

Difficulty level: Easy

1. Open index.html located in ./styles/{YOURTEMPLATE}/layout/*

2. Search for:

{get_users assign=topusers limit=10 order=' total_videos DESC '}

3. Where it says limit=10, you are going to replace that number ten with the one you want. Let’s say if you want to show Top 7 Members, it’ll be: limit=7, and the complete code will look like this:

{get_users assign=topusers limit=7 order=' total_videos DESC '}

4. Save and upload.

That’s it! You’ve now just finished the tutorial! Anything you need, please do not hesitate to contact me, any question, feel free to ask me!

Best Regards,

Richi
