After the above installation is done, where do you go from here? Is there a step by step process that will help in order to get the themes/template installed and have you on your way to completing your site?

  2. Mary Jane says:

Why is that when I leave the blank, I mean making the box empty, I could not see my url online. But when I leave the there as the default, its taking me to I want it to be shown as only. What should I do?

    • Mike Hoffman says:

Leaving the folder option completely blank will install WordPress in your root directory. I might suggest going to the “current installations” (icon in the upper right of softaculous) and uninstall all existing copies of WP, and maybe manually delete any stray folders that are leftover. You might be having some kind of strange “interference” from an old installation of WP if you have tried it once or twice already.

Let me know how it goes.

      Hi Emmanuel,

Do you mean you want to install plugins that do not come with WordPress? That is fine to do with Arvixe. We do recommend that you verify the creator of the plug-ins to make sure they are trust-worthy through.
