How to Install SilverStripe CMS From Your cPanel Using Softaculous

This article will give you a step by step guide on how to install SilverStripe CMS from your cPanel.

Sign into your cPanel and follow these steps:

1) Scroll down to Software/Services and click Softaculous

2) Expand the Portals/CMS tab and click on SilverStripe

3) Click the Install tab

4) If your site has SSL, choose the HTTPS protocol in the Choose Protocol box

5) Select the domain that you would like SilverStripe CMS to be installed on

6) For the In Directory box, enter the name of a non-existent directory, or leave the box blank to install SilverStripe CMS directly to your domain

7) Enter your websites name

8 ) Enter a description of your website

9) Enter the administrators email address

10) Enter the administrators first and last name

11) Enter the desired password for the administrator

12) Click Install

13) You will now receive a confirmation page which includes the URL for administration
