How to Install Pligg From Your cPanel Using Softaculous

This article will give you a step by step guide on how to install Pligg from your cPanel.

Sign into your cPanel and follow these steps:

1) Scroll down to Software/Services and click Softaculous

2) Scroll down to Portals/CMS. Find the Pligg link and click on it.

4) Fill out all of the boxes. For In Directory type the name of a new directory you would like created. By default, the box will be left blank to install the software into your main directory. When you are finished, click Install.

    hi, how to install the latest version of pligg ? its looks like softaclus gives us a old version of pligg ?

    We have notified softaculous and it should be updated within the next few business days.

    THANK YOU!!! I’ve been barking up my host’s tech support for help on getting Pligg installed, but they weren’t very helpful. You’ve just saved me a lot of time, though I appreciate the learning opportunity of using ftp clients and CHMOD for the first time (it’s scary for noobs.)

    Oh! However, it’s running an old version of Pligg, which is on 1.1.2. now.

    Simply contact support and we can at least notify Softaculous to update it. Or, if you are not in a hurry, it generally gets updated within a few dates to the latest version.
