How to Fix Your Elgg Database

Sometimes, your Elgg database may crash and won’t let you log in or even see your site. Most of the time, this kind of problem happens when you install a plugin that might not be compatible with the Elgg version that you have installed on your site. A broken or damage database may not let you access your Elgg site anymore.
In this guide, I will show you how to repair your Elgg database so that you can have access to your site again. Sign in into your Website Panel (Cpanel) and follow these steps:
1. Click on MySQL Databases:
2. You will be redirected to another page. In that page, go where it says Modify Databases. In that part, you will see two options with drop down boxes. These are Check DB and Repair DB. We will click on Repair DB drop down box and select the Elgg database:
3. After we selected the database, we click on the button that says “Repair DB”. Once you click on that button, your database will be repaired:
