How to Enable the Check-In Feature in phpFox v3.5

This article will focus on showing you how to enable the check in feature that is new in phpFox 3.5.

Login to your Admincp, and select Settings > Manage Settings from the menu.

On the Settings page, under Module Settings, select Core.

In the Core Settings, you will need to scroll down until you see the IP InfoDB API Key and the Google API Key, you do not have to enter an API key for both, but you will need to enter at least one of these in order for the Check-Ins feature to work.  Information on how to obtain these keys can be found in the links in the description of these keys.

Once you have entered your API key, click Submit.

Next, use the Quick Jump at the top right of the settings page to select the Feed settings page.

On the Feed Settings page, scroll the bottom of the list of settings and set Enable Check-In to True.

Then click Submit to save the changes.

You have successfully enabled the Check-In feature for your phpFox website!
