How to Enable Invite Only Registration for your phpFox Site

This article will show you how to enable Invite Only Registration for your phpFox website.

Setting your website to only allow registration by invitation is an easy way to keep your website to be usable only by a small group of members and those that they invite.

Login to your Admincp and select Settings >  Manage Settings from the menu.

On the Manage Settings screen, select Registration settings under Global Settings.

The first thing that you need to do, is make sure that Allow User Registration is set to True.

Next, you will need to scroll down the list of Registration settings and find Invite Only.  Set this to True as well.

When done, select Submit to save your changes.

You should now be able to set your phpFox website to only allow registration by invitation!

    Just a question — after setting to “invite only”, how do you send someone an invitation to join?

      In the footer menu you will see a link for Invite. Click that link and you will be able to send invitations to anyone that you would like to invite to join your website.
