This article will give you a step by step guide on how to create a website pointer from your WebSitePanel. Sign into your WebSitePanel and follow these steps:

1) Click Domains

2) Click Add Domain

3) Click Domain Alias

4) Enter the URL of the pointer website you want

5) Check the box next to Point to existing Web Site

6) Select the domain you want the pointer to go to

7) Click Update

    yes but it says you can make it a sub-domain pointer but it forces you to use www. How do you make a sub-domain pointer

    Hi,
    When making the pointer it will just show the www. When you actually make the pointer you do not need to use that prefix.
