Mail domain pointers allow you to link mail setup of domain(s) with a different domain, i.e. create mail domain aliases. In this way, your selected domain will be able to ‘catch’ emails of other domains.
This article will give you step by step procedures on how to add a mail domain pointer to catch emails of another domain
Step 1. Login in to your WebSitePanel control panel. Click on Mail, then Domains. This will open and list your email domains.
Step 2. Click on the domain name that you want to use as the target domain. This will open the Mail Domain Properties page.
Step 3. Click Add Pointer from the page shown below. This will open the Add Mail Domain Pointer page.
Step 4. Select the source/alias domain from the drop down list and click Add
Now you have successfully added a mail domain pointer. Now each email sent to [email protected] will be caught by [email protected]
