[HOW-TO] Change website logo in Clip-Bucket v1.7.x

Written by Richi González Tuesday, 5 July 2011

Hello,

Working with a client that uses the v1.7.x branch, I’ve decided to write some articles of doing some basic, but needed things, with the script. This time I’ll tell you how to change the logo at the top left of the page. This is a very easy thing to do, but can become a headache if you are new to the script. This article is written for all the v1.7.x versions, as they handle the logo the same way.

Difficulty level: Easy

* Your logo should be a GIF of 180×41

1. Once you have your logo, open up your favorite FTP client, and connect to your website.

2. Now that you have connected, browse to ./styles/{YOURTEMPLATE}/images/*

3. Rename your logo to logo.gif

4. Upload and overwrite when asked.

Ready! If you cannot see your new logo, but you can see the previous one, clear your browser’s cache and refresh the website. Any questions, comments, etc, feel free to leave me a comment in here! If you want me to write an article for an specific issue, let me know and I’ll be more than glad to do it.

Best Regards,

Richi
