How to Change the Collation of a Database in phpMyAdmin

This article will give you a step by step guide on how to change the collation of one of your databases using phpMyAdmin. Sign into your cPanel and follow these steps:

1) Scroll down to Databases and click phpMyAdmin

2) Select the database you wish to manage from the drop-down menu on the left. For this example, we will pick the database for Dolphin 7

3) Click the Operations tab in the top menu

4) Select a new collation from the drop down menu at the bottom of the screen and then click Go
