There are two ways: One is to edit the Custom_Index Plugin. The other one is to get a theme from the elgg community and edit the background of that theme.

Is it possible to change the color within the php code lets say:

}

Thanks and keep up the great work… I’ve also had WordPress and WordPress MU sites, I’ve about given up on them due to the endless flood of SPAM and I’ve almost wiped my Elgg site due to 332 users and 776 SPAM posts.

Any ideas on how-to fix the SPAM issue with Elgg and WP?
