Change File Permissions in cPanel’s File Manager

You can change your files/folders permission using the File Manager in your cPanel. You just need to follow the simple steps below:

– Log into your cPanel.

– Look for the File Manager and click on it.

fm1- Now navigate to the file/folder you want to change permissions for and right click on it. Then select Change Permissions.

fm2- A new window will appear where you can select the permissions you want for your file or folder.

fm3- Click the Change Permissions button to save the changes you made.
