Fixing Clip-Bucket’s Video Conversion: Unrecognized Option VF

Hello,

This is one more article of the series “Fixing Clip-Bucket’s Video Conversion”. I am sure a lot of you have come across the unrecognized option vf error and struggled fixing it (if you’ve fixed it already). For those who still have this error, learn how to fix it by following the simple instructions in this article. Works for the whole v2 branch and if you are not using CB, it should give you a good idea to fix other scripts.

1. Log into your admin_area (http://yoursite.tld/admin_area)

2. In the left column, under Stats and Configurations, find and click Website Configurations

3. At the top taps, look for Uploading and Conversion Settings

4. Look for the Turn on VF radio button, and make sure it is set to NO.

5. Update Settings.z4

 

 

Now that you have disabled VF, upload a video and make sure the error is gone. If everything else is correct, your site should be converting videos correctly now! Should you have any questions, comments or suggestions for upcoming articles, please do not hesitate to contact me!
