Deleting E-mail in Apple Mail

This post addresses to users who are using Apple Mail.
When you are using IMAP in Apple Mail and try to delete an email an error displayed as below;
The IMAP command “UID COPY” (to Deleted Messages) failed for the mailbox “INBOX” with server error: Failed to save copy of message.

This mean the Apple Mail is not properly configured to move message into Trash. This is a default configuration. You need to enable moving of message into Trash folder. The step by step solution is stated below;
1. Go to Preferences.
2. Select Accounts.
3. Select your Email Account and click Mailbox Behaviors.
4. Select and check Move deleted messages to the Trash mailbox.
5. Close Preferences.
6. Click Save.
Now you messages will be deleted and moved to trash folder.

This will resolve the issue.
