Enabling reCAPTCHA on your phpFox Website

This article will show you how to enable reCAPTCHA for your phpFox website.  reCAPTCHA will help you to block unwanted spam member signups.

In order to enable reCAPTCHA, you will first need to register on the reCAPTCHA website to get your reCAPTCHA keys. Go to http://www.google.com/recaptcha/whyrecaptcha and signup.

Once you have your reCAPTCHA keys, login to your admincp and select Settings > Manage Settings.

On the Manage Settings screen, select reCAPTCHA.

On the reCAPTCHA settings page, you will need to Enable reCAPTCHA by setting it to TRUE.  Then enter your reCAPTCHA Public and Private keys in to the necessary fields.  When done select Submit.

You have now enabled reCAPTCHA for your phpFox website.
