Enable Walled Garden in Elgg

There are lots of reasons you might set up a walled garden. Walled Garden is the highest level of privacy available in elgg. Some uses would be a private company’s intranet, a high school, an organization’s private network. In this article I will give you a step by step guide on how to enable walled garden in elgg.1. Sign into your elgg network and go to the Administrator Dashboard.

2. Go to menu “Configure > Settings > Advance settings“:

3. Then click on Restrict pages to logged-in users:

4. Click on Save. Then run upgrade.php If you don’t know have to do that, please read this article

5. And that’s it, Walled Garden is now enforced.
