Enable Multi-Ads in PHPFox

PHPFox version 3.7 adds a new ad feature, Multi-Ads.  This article will show you how to enable them.

Login to your admincp and select Settings > Manage Settings.  Under Module Settings, click Ad.

On the Ad Settings screen, scroll down to find the Multi-Ad Location option and select True from the dropdown.  In the Ads in Multi-Ad Location option type how many ads you want to be shown.  When done, click Submit.

Next you need to create the Placement for the Multi-Ads, to do so, select Modules > Ads > Ad Placement.

Create the Title, enter the Price, select Placement Type, and make sure to set it to Active.  When done, click Submit.

Finally, you need to make sure that the usergroups you want to allow to create ads, have the ability to create ads.  Select Users > Manage User Groups.

On the Manage User Groups screen, click the dropdown arrow to the left of the user group you want to edit and select Manage User Settings.

On the following screen, select the Ad Module from the left column to view the settings for the Ad Module.  To allow this user group to create ads, make sure that Can create ad campaigns is set to yes.  Then click Submit.  Repeat this for all the user groups that you want to allow to create ads.
