Embed PDF Files in Joomla

PDF is a widely supported format and it is popular because it can be opened without losing the format on any computer or mobile device. Displaying PDF documents in your Joomla website is a key feature that you must have in order to attract more visitors and also add a professional look to your site. In this article I will give you a step-by-step guide on how to embed PDF files in Joomla.

1. Download the PDF Embed extension for Joomla.

2. Sign into Joomla as an Administrator: joomla admin

3. In Joomla Control Panel, go to menu “Extensions -> Extension Manager”: extension manager joomla

4. Install and Activate the PDF Embed extension. If you don’t know how to do that, please read this article.

5. After installing the plugin, you can embed PDF documents in your articles. You just need to have the link to the PDF document and add this code before the link of the document:
